Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by lining a small sheet pan with parchment paper and lightly brush it with extra virgin olive oil.
  2. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, add the sesame seeds and stir continuously for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Once the seeds are toasted, return the pan to heat and pour in the honey. Stir for about 3-4 minutes until it bubbles.
  4. Quickly add the toasted sesame seeds to the bubbling honey and stir thoroughly for about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the warm mixture onto the prepared sheet pan and spread it evenly using a spatula.
  6. Let the candy cool for about 20 minutes, then cut into bars or squares.
