  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 4 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • 2-4 tablespoons milk or cream choose based on preference
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a stand mixer, combine instant yeast, warm water, brown sugar, canola oil, and fine sea salt. Mix on low speed, then medium speed for 7-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper. Punch down the risen dough, divide into 6 pieces, and roll each into logs, cutting each into 13 pieces for pretzel bites.
  3. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add baking soda. Dunk each pretzel bite for 10-15 seconds, then place on baking sheets.
  4. Bake pretzel bites for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before coating.
  5. Brush each warm pretzel bite with melted butter and toss in a mix of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Serve with the creamy dipping sauce.
