Preparation Steps
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, around 8–10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- Sauté the Ground Beef: In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, half of the Cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Transfer to a plate.
- Prepare the Garlic: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Create the Cream Sauce: Stir in the cream cheese until melted. This forms a creamy base for the Alfredo sauce.
- Incorporate the Milk: Gradually whisk in milk or half-and-half, then add Parmesan cheese and remaining Cajun seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked ground beef and drained pasta to the skillet. Toss until pasta is well coated with sauce. If too thick, add reserved pasta water.
- Serve the Dish: Remove from heat, garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley or red pepper flakes, and serve hot.

Notes
Let cream cheese sit at room temperature for 30 minutes for easy melting. Reserve pasta water for sauce consistency adjustments. Use fresh ingredients for better flavor.
