For the Cream
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (cold) half-and-half can be used for a lighter version
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract opt for pure vanilla for best flavor
  • 1 pinch Salt balances sweetness

Method
 

Prepare Peaches
  1. Wash and slice fresh, ripe peaches into half-inch wedges. Peel off the skins and place in a bowl. Add lemon zest, sugar, and salt. Stir gently and let sit for about 10 minutes.
Whip Cream
  1. In a separate bowl, add cold heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla. Whip on medium-high speed for 3 to 5 minutes until fluffy.
Assemble Dessert
  1. Spoon prepared peaches into serving cups, drizzle with peach juices, and dollop whipped cream on top. Tap cups to settle.
Chill Cups
  1. Cover cups with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Serve and Garnish
  1. Remove plastic wrap and garnish with extra lemon zest, cinnamon, or a vanilla wafer before serving.
