Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the uncooked pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente.
  2. Once cooked, drain the pasta and rinse under cold water for about 30 seconds to stop the cooking process.
  3. Chop the chosen vegetables into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped vegetables, and cheddar cheese. Fold the ingredients together gently.
  5. Pour the ranch dressing over the mixture and toss until all ingredients are coated.
  6. Taste and sprinkle with salt and pepper to desired flavor, then mix again.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
