  • 1 jar Green Olives Substitution: Black olives
  • 1 cup Almond Flour Substitution: Coconut flour, adjust amount
For the Coating
  • 1 large Egg Beaten well
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Substitution: Fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Smoked paprika can enhance flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Flaky sea salt recommended
For Frying
  • ½ cup Avocado Oil Substitution: Olive oil
For the Garlic Aioli
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise Substitution: Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced finely
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Fresh juice preferred
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Drain the green olives and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  3. Beat the egg in a separate bowl. Dip each olive into the egg, then roll in the almond flour mixture.
  4. Heat avocado oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the coated olives in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl for the aioli.
  7. Serve the fried olives warm with garlic aioli on the side.
