Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy and Chewy Rice Paper Samosas
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil until shimmering. Sauté chopped russet potatoes, onion, red bell pepper, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground turmeric, and salt for 10–15 minutes until tender. Stir in fresh cilantro and peas, then remove from heat.
  2. Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Soak each rice paper sheet for about 10–15 seconds until pliable. Lay on a clean surface and maintain a damp towel over remaining sheets.
  3. Take a soaked rice paper sheet, spoon a portion of the cooled filling onto the lower third, fold up over filling, then fold in sides to create a triangle shape, sealing the edges.
  4. Heat remaining sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the assembled samosas in the oil, frying for about 3–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve hot with Kikkoman® Gluten-Free Sweet Chili Sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
