Step-by-Step Instructions for Berry Caprese Salad
  1. Toast the pine nuts in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
  2. Make the dressing by combining olive oil, balsamic vinegar, crushed garlic, maple syrup, thyme, salt, and pepper in a mason jar. Shake well.
  3. Prepare a serving bowl with a generous layer of mixed lettuce.
