- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
- Cut ½ cup of cold butter into small cubes and incorporate it into the dry mixture until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together ¾ cup of Greek yogurt, 1 egg, and 1-2 tablespoons of water until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead lightly about 8 to 10 times, and roll out to about 1-inch thickness.
- Cut out circles from the rolled dough and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Whisk together one egg with a splash of water, and brush the tops of the biscuits with the egg wash.
- Bake the biscuits for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
