Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Equipment

Method

Steps
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula, cooking for about 6-8 minutes until it’s browned and no longer pink.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for around 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent and softened.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic along with the chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Pour in the diced tomatoes and mix everything well. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Warm the tortillas, either in the microwave or in a dry skillet for about 10-15 seconds on each side.
  6. Lay a warm tortilla flat and spoon a generous amount of the beef mixture down the center. Top with shredded lettuce and cheese, then carefully roll the tortilla up tightly.
  7. Serve warm, optionally garnished with extra toppings such as sour cream or salsa.
