Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries ripe
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract pure
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Mint chopped
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tbsp Honey optional
For the Bread
  • 8 slices White Bread crusts removed
  • 8 slices Whole Wheat or Gluten-Free Bread

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and slice fresh strawberries into small pieces, about 1/4 inch thick. Toss with honey and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Blend softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, salt, and fresh mint together until smooth.
  3. Spread cream cheese mixture on a slice of bread, add honey-coated strawberries, then top with another slice of bread.
  4. Repeat until all ingredients are used. Cut assembled sandwiches into quarters or triangles.
  5. Arrange on a serving platter. Cover with plastic wrap if not served immediately.
