- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and set the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
- Sprinkle a layer of sweetened shredded coconut across the bottom of the prepared crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and melted butter until combined. Add whole milk, eggs, coconut cream, rum, vanilla extract, coconut extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the filling mixture slowly over the layer of coconut in the pie crust.
