Step-by-Step Instructions for Berry Puff Twists

  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread your chosen berry preserves over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Brush melted butter mixed with vanilla extract over the preserves.
  5. Cut the pastry into 8 equal strips, twist each strip several times, and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush each twist with beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
