Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Spread thawed hash browns in the skillet, and cook undisturbed for 5-7 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  2. In the same skillet, crumble in breakfast sausage and cook over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Pour into the skillet and cook over medium-low heat, stirring gently for 3-4 minutes until softly scrambled.
  4. Assemble the bowls by dividing hash browns, topping with scrambled eggs and sausage. Sprinkle cheese over warm ingredients.
  5. Finish with salsa and diced avocado, garnishing with green onions and cilantro.
