Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease your springform pan.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of the springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until velvety.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour over the pre-baked crust.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let it cool inside for 1 hour.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter and cook until golden brown. Stir in chopped pecans and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Once cooled, drizzle caramel over cheesecake and top with browned butter pecan mixture.
  8. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight before serving.
