Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch pan with aluminum foil and cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions and pour it into the pan. Bake for 28-32 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping.
  4. After baking, let the cake cool for 10 minutes and poke holes in it with a wooden spoon.
  5. Pour the sweetened condensed milk and caramel mixture over the warm cake, ensuring holes are filled.
  6. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  7. Spread whipped topping over the cake and sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips, then drizzle with caramel sauce.
