Cake Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients until well combined.
- Use an electric mixer to cream together the butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in diced pears and walnuts gently.
