  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Soft or panko are best.
  • 1/2 cup Milk For soaking the breadcrumbs.
  • 1/4 cup Parsley Fresh, chopped.
For the Lemon Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For searing meatballs.
  • 2 tbsp Flour For dusting meatballs.
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth Base for the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper To taste.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes.
  2. Combine ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, grated onion, minced garlic, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and dust each with flour.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the meatballs for 4–5 minutes on each side.
  5. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  6. Add chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet, bring to a simmer.
  7. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
  8. Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with parsley and lemon slices.
