Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Mix softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley for the garlic spread.
- Spread garlic mixture on cut sides of garlic bread. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes.
- Sauté chopped onions in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, then ground beef or chicken, cooking until browned (6-8 minutes).
- Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the toasted garlic bread halves.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the fillings. Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve garnished with parsley.
