  • 4 ounces Provolone Cheese substitute with mozzarella or another mild cheese
  • 2 cups Chopped Lettuce mixed greens work too

  • 1/2 cup Red Onion green onions can be a milder option
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoncinis jalapeños can be used instead
For the Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be a lighter alternative
  • 1/4 cup Italian Dressing homemade or vinaigrette is suitable
  • 2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar apple cider vinegar is a good substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder fresh minced garlic is an option
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning mix of dried basil, oregano, and thyme can work

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather all fresh ingredients. Chop salami, ham, pepperoni, cheese, dice tomatoes, onion, shred lettuce, and slice pepperoncinis.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook for 9-11 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Italian dressing, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  4. In a large bowl, add cooled pasta and dressing. Mix gently until pasta is evenly coated.
  5. Incorporate salami, ham, pepperoni, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and pepperoncinis into pasta. Toss until well distributed.
  6. Cover and chill salad for at least 1 hour before serving. Stir and garnish with parsley before serving.
