Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Sour Cream you can use Greek yogurt as an alternative
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Bacon chopped, can substitute with turkey bacon
  • 2 tbsp Ranch Seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 2 each Jalapenos finely chopped, seeds removed for milder flavor
  • 2 each Green Onions chopped, substitute with chives if preferred
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper or white pepper for a different flavor
Coating
  • 1 cup Chopped Roasted Pecans or chopped pretzels for crunch
  • 1 4 Chopped Flat Leaf Parsley optional
  • 2 each Sliced Jalapenos optional, for garnish

Method
 

Make the Cheese Ball
  1. Mix the chopped bacon, cream cheese, sour cream, Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, finely chopped jalapenos, green onions, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and ground black pepper in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Scoop the mixture onto plastic wrap and mold it into a ball shape. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the coating by mixing the chopped roasted pecans, parsley, additional bacon, cheddar cheese, and jalapenos together.
  4. Once chilled, roll the cheese ball in the coating mixture until fully covered.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball again in plastic wrap and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
  6. Before serving, allow the cheese ball to sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
