Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot, brown ground beef and Italian sausage until no pink remains, about 8–10 minutes, then add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  2. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and beaten egg until smooth.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer meat sauce in a baking dish, followed by noodles and half the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers, ending with sauce and topping with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
  6. Let the lasagna rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
