- In a large pot, brown ground beef and Italian sausage until no pink remains, about 8–10 minutes, then add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and beaten egg until smooth.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer meat sauce in a baking dish, followed by noodles and half the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers, ending with sauce and topping with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
