Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Cut half of the white bread into cubes and spread them evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Layer half of the ham and turkey over the bread cubes and then sprinkle half of the Swiss cheese on top.
- Add the remaining bread cubes over the meat and cheese layers.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered bread and fillings in the baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter generously over the top of the casserole.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
