  • 2.5 cups Powdered Sugar Can use coconut sugar for a non-refined option.
  • 2-3 tablespoons Natural Vanilla Coffee Creamer Regular milk with vanilla extract can be substituted.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a stand mixer, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Heat water and butter, add to mixture with egg, and mix for 2 minutes.
  2. Gradually mix in more flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5-10 minutes and then let rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix blueberry preserves and fresh blueberries gently in a bowl.
  4. Roll dough out into a rectangle and brush with melted butter. Spread the filling evenly.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from the long edge and slice into 12 rolls. Place in a greased pan.
  6. Cover rolls and let them rise in a warm area for about 1 hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F. Sprinkle almonds on top and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Transfer baked rolls to a wire rack to cool. Prepare frosting and drizzle over warm rolls.
  9. Top with sliced almonds and serve warm.
