For the Cream Cheese Layer
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Light cream cheese can be used for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Adjust quantity for less sweetness.
For the Jello Layer
  • 3 ounces Strawberry Flavored Gelatin Unflavored gelatin for sugar-free version.
  • 1 cup Water Boiling strawberry juice can enhance flavor.
  • 1 cup Strawberry Greek Yogurt Regular Greek yogurt can be omitted.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream Can use Cool Whip or homemade.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Crush about 20 Golden Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter and mix with the cookie crumbs. Press mixture into a 9x13 inch pan and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of diced fresh strawberries and spread over the crust. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
  3. Dissolve 3 ounces of strawberry flavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Allow to cool slightly and whisk in 1 cup of strawberry Greek yogurt and 1 cup of whipped cream. Pour over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Spread 1 cup of whipped cream over the jello layer. Return dessert to the fridge for 1 hour to fully set.
  5. Garnish with fresh strawberries or chocolate curls, cut into squares, and serve chilled.
