Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and gather your ingredients.
  2. Add ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Pour in the tomato sauce and beef broth, mixing well. Add Italian seasoning and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the elbow macaroni, making sure it is mostly submerged. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for about 15 minutes.
  5. Check the pasta for tenderness after 15 minutes; continue to simmer if necessary for 2-3 minutes.
