- Wash cucumbers thoroughly and slice them into uniformly thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick. Set aside to drain.
- Slice jalapeño in half, remove seeds, and chop into thin slices or small dice. Thinly slice red onion.
- Finely chop fresh cilantro after rinsing and drying it.
- In a large bowl, combine drained cucumbers, chopped jalapeño, sliced red onion, and cilantro.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the mixture and sprinkle with salt. Stir to combine.
- Gently toss the salad and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes.
