Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 additional minute.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking apart with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water, mixing thoroughly. Let simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Adjust with salt and pepper as needed.
  4. In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, black beans, and corn. Toss ingredients until evenly distributed.
  5. Top the salad with the seasoned beef mixture, cheddar cheese, diced avocado, and sour cream. Drizzle with salsa and sprinkle fresh cilantro.
