For the BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce your favorite variety
For the Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil can substitute with canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika or regular paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
Optional Additions
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper for heat
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley for garnish

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375-400°F). Clean the grates and brush with oil.
  2. Combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Rub the spice mix onto the chicken thighs.
  3. Place the chicken thighs skin side down on the grate. Grill for 6-8 minutes without moving, then flip and grill the other side for another 6-8 minutes.
  4. Brush barbecue sauce on both sides of the chicken. Grill for an additional 6-10 minutes, basting every 2-3 minutes until caramelized and cooked through to 165°F.
  5. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with extra BBQ sauce.
