  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter can substitute with olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • 1 juice of lemon fresh is best
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or regular/cayenne for heat

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse the shrimp under cool water and pat dry. Season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil. Melt and bubble for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer, sear for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of butter, and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add fresh lemon slices and juice, simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in sauce, and heat for an additional minute until glossy.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with bread.
