  • 1 pound Smoked Sausage Fresh sausage can work too
  • 3 ears Corn Sweet, can use frozen corn
  • 1 pound Potatoes Waxy potato works well

  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Optional for sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce Adjust to spice preference

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Fill a large pot with enough water to cover the ingredients. Add bay leaves, Old Bay seasoning, sliced lemon, minced garlic, and salt. Heat until boiling for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add halved potatoes and corn to the pot. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in sliced smoked sausage and boil for an additional 5 minutes. Add shrimp, cooking for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Carefully drain the seafood and veggies, reserving 1 cup of broth for the garlic butter sauce.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion; sauté until onions are translucent. Mix in reserved broth and seasonings, simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Drizzle garlic butter sauce over shrimp and vegetables, toss to coat evenly, and serve with crusty bread.
