Preparation Instructions
  1. Cut the beef chuck roast into 2-3 inch chunks and place in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the onion soup mix and brown gravy mix over the beef chunks.
  3. Drizzle the apple cider vinegar over the beef and seasonings.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Shred the beef directly in the slow cooker with two forks.
  6. Layer garlic bread on each plate and top with mashed potatoes.
  7. Pile shredded beef and ladle gravy over the mashed potatoes.
