  • 1/4 cup Hot Honey Mix regular honey with cayenne for a substitute.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced; garlic powder can be used if fresh isn't available.
For the Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 medium Sweet Potatoes Can swap with regular potatoes or butternut squash.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can use avocados or melted coconut oil.
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper
For Toppings
  • 1 cup Fresh Cheese Queso fresco or feta; use vegan options for dairy-free.
  • 1 medium Sliced Avocado Can switch with guacamole.
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Chopped; can use scallions for a different flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Dice sweet potatoes and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and spices; sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add hot honey and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Fry eggs in a separate skillet to desired doneness.
  6. Assemble bowls with rice, hot honey beef, sweet potatoes, avocado, and fried egg.
  7. Garnish with extra hot honey, fresh cheese, cilantro, and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
