- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings, then place them into a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the pineapple juice, brown sugar, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, soy sauce, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken wings and toss gently to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Line a baking sheet with foil, place a greased wire rack on top, and arrange the marinated wings in a single layer.
- Bake the wings for 25 to 30 minutes, brushing with reserved marinade halfway through.
- For added crispness, broil for the last 3 to 5 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.
