Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and oil a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, egg, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Layer sliced zucchini over the marinara sauce.
  5. Spoon cottage cheese mixture over zucchini and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella.
  7. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
